Orange County Board of Supervisors Meetings
Until the recent Special Election to fill the open seat of Todd Spitzer in District 3, little if any attention has been given to the Orange County Board of Supervisors by the majority of voters in our county.
The OC Board of Supervisors is comprised of 5 Districts. Each of the five districts are comprised of approximately 600,000 residents --- equal to the size of one Congressional District and oversee a budget of
Supervisors are elected to serve 4-year terms.
The Board of Supervisors oversees a $6 billion budget for the administration of homelessness, mental health, social services, law enforcement, public works, land use, public utilities, regional parks, water, sewers, animal control, buses, freeways. commuter rail and makes appointments to boards and commissions.
